Our client is a leading provider of 4G, 5G (LTE) and wireless connectivity solutions for public and private networks. Based in Berkshire, they are expanding their team and seek and experienced DSP Engineer – Wireless Systems to work on a number of exciting projects. The DSP Engineer – Wireless Systems, Berkshire, will be responsible for design and development of physical layer algorithms for 5G wireless systems Other responsibilities include: Development of physical layer features for wireless systems at both algorithm and DSP level on target hardware. Preparation of specifications detailing physical layer implementation and verification on a range of platforms. Technical liaison with chosen sub-contractors / partners. Work in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System and policies. The successful DSP Engineer – Wireless Systems, will have a blend of the following: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Physics / Mathematics / Electronic Engineering related discipline. Proven experience in wireless physical layer development including algorithm development and implementation on industry standard DSP. Must have worked on 4G LTE or 5G NR Physical Layer Development. Good understanding of 3GPP standards 36.211, (phone number removed) or 38.211, (phone number removed). Good understanding Physical layer channels like PBCH,PDCCH, PDSCH, PUCCH,PUSCH, PRACH and their Processing Chain.
