A Design Engineer is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, contributing to the design and development of high-reliability RF communication systems and electronic hardware solutions. The Design Engineer will be expected to develop your understanding in the field, learning from peers and senior engineers in technical areas and industry best practices. This may include electronic design principles, RF systems, production processes, and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with product management, customers, and internal teams to define product and design specifications.
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and RF designs using industry-standard design tools.
  • Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and final products.
  • Debug and validate electronic hardware systems using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams for seamless integration.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Support production, customers, and field teams with technical queries.

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency with electronic design tools and PCB layout systems.
