This role will support the planning, scheduling and administration of production activities, helping ensure customer demand is met, production priorities are communicated effectively, and materials and information are available to support efficient manufacturing operations.
What you will be doing as a Production Planning Administrator, in Portsmouth:
- Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer requirements and production deadlines
- Monitor production priorities and help resolve manufacturing conflicts
- Liaise with production, planning, quality, engineering and supply chain teams
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available to support production
- Maintain accurate production records, data and documentation
- Support quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process
- Coordinate information between departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Assist with day-to-day production planning and administration activities
- Identify and help resolve planning issues to maintain efficient manufacturing operations
