Redline Group are partnering with a well-established UK electronics manufacturer, supporting a broad customer base across high-reliability sectors including transport, industrial, and aerospace. Due to increasing workload and the need to maintain high standards across quality and turnaround times, they are now looking to bring in a Contract Test Technician to strengthen the team.
This contract will not accept candidates operating via a PSC, therefore you will be required to work via an Umbrella company. This is a fully on-site role, requiring attendance five days per week, with standard working hours of 08:30-16:30.
You'll be working on returned units from the field, many of which are legacy systems, carrying out fault finding, testing, and supporting repair and quoting processes. The environment is hands-on and fast-paced, with a strong pipeline of ongoing work and clear potential for long-term engagement if successful.
Key skills required for the Contract Test Technician, Reading:
- Fault finding and diagnosing issues on electronic units
- Bench testing and use of multimeters and standard test equipment
