A market-leading electronic component service provider is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate customer acquisition and sales growth across the UK and European markets. This is a high-impact role focused on winning new business, increasing revenue streams, and expanding market presence within the electronics, PCBA, and component distribution sectors.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth by identifying, targeting, and securing new customers requiring PCB assembly (PCBA) services. You will develop and execute sector-specific sales strategies aligned with company objectives, building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and converting them into long-term partnerships.

  • Develop and implement a strategic, sector-based business development plan
  • Drive new customer acquisition across UK & European electronics markets
  • Proactively build a robust sales pipeline through:
    • Telephone prospecting
    • Industry networking
  • Maintain and update CRM systems to track KPIs and sales performance
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to increase lead conversion

The ideal Business Development Manager will have:

  • Proven experience in electronics sales
  • Experience working within a Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM) or electronic component distributor
  • A strong track record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
