As an Electronics Test Support Engineer based in Eastbourne, you will provide hands-on support for Automated Test Equipment (ATE), helping to ensure production runs efficiently and test systems operate at optimum performance. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting test-related issues, maintaining equipment, repairing test fixtures and supporting continuous improvement activities across the production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working across the interface of electronics, software and instrumentation. Key Responsibilities for this Electronics Test Support Engineer based in Eastbourne; Provide first-line support for automated and semi-automated test systems. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and instrumentation issues. Respond to production test support requests and minimise downtime. Support engineering projects, including upgrades and redesigns of legacy test stations. Assist with validation, commissioning and duplication of test systems. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and production teams to deliver robust test solutions. For this Electronics Test Support Engineer based in Eastbourne you need; Experience supporting ATE, production test equipment or electronic test systems within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electronics and practical fault-finding techniques. Ability to interpret electronic schematics and system diagrams. Experience with test automation environments such as C#, LabVIEW, Python or similar. Hands-on experience with electronic test fixtures, instrumentation and measurement equipment. Degree, HNC or HND in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering or a related discipline. Proven background in test engineering, production test support or electronics manufacturing.
