In this Senior Electronics Engineer - Analogue/Digital job you must have electronics and engineering knowledge and experience in combination with good design and problem‑solving ability to develop products that meet performance and cost targets and that are completed on time. You will operate in a central role within a multidisciplinary project team and take responsibility for technical leadership, product specification, systems design, evaluation programmes and troubleshooting. An understanding of all aspects of system design is critical.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a good Honours Degree in Electronics
  • Approximately 5 years practical experience in design and development of new products in one or more of these areas:
    • Analogue circuit design, layout and optimisation, specifically for low signal amplification and high‑performance closed‑loop systems.
    • Digital signal processing, including an excellent understanding and application of sampling theory, noise reduction, filtering and digital signal conditioning.
    • VHDL (less important) and low‑level programming in C and assembler – useful.
    • EMC / compliance testing.
