Accounts Payable Manager

Redline are currently working with a well-established engineering company based in Milton Keynes who are looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Manager for their busy accounts department. Reporting directly to the CFO you will be leading a small accounts team in the managing and processing of 700/800 invoices per month to the value of £20 million. This position, in Milton Keynes, also represents the opportunity for and experienced professional to make their mark by modernising their systems so we are looking for a real problem solver, who is not afraid to get stuck in and who motivates and inspires those around them. In addition, to be successful in this Accounts Payable Manager you will also have experience of the following; Closing of the monthly ledgers Periodic reporting: Creditors Reports, Creditor to Balance Sheet Reconciliation. Resolving escalated issues. Reviewing processes to improve efficiency and provide a better service to our suppliers, including statement reconciliations. Regular meetings with the procurement team to build relationships and solve supplier queries.
