A leading global law firm is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to oversee a high-performing Quality Assurance function within its Compliance department. This role provides critical oversight of client onboarding, monitoring and review processes, ensuring high standards, consistency, and alignment with the firm’s risk priorities.
The Senior QA Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of the QA strategy, manage frameworks and methodologies, and work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams. This is a people-focused leadership role, responsible for developing a team of skilled Analysts, driving a strong quality culture, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the QA team, driving accuracy, consistency, and strong performance.
- Deliver the QA strategy across onboarding, periodic reviews, and trigger events.
- Oversee QA frameworks, standards, and communication across all jurisdictions.
- Recommend improvements to policies, CDD/KYC processes, QA frameworks, and systems.
- Produce reporting for senior management, including trends and root cause analysis.
- Serve as escalation point for complex QA issues and recommend remediation for higher-risk findings.
- Expert knowledge of AML, KYC and financial crime regulations.
- Proven experience designing and delivering QA frameworks.
- Strong leadership abilities and a track record managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data, influence stakeholders, and simplify complex regulatory issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience building cross-functional relationships.
