RedLaw has partnered with a leading international law firm to appoint an experienced lawyer on an interim basis as a Data Protection Lead, supporting the delivery and oversight of the firm’s global data protection and privacy framework. Working closely with the General Counsel, Risk and In-House Legal teams, this is a high-profile position offering broad international exposure and significant stakeholder engagement across the business.
The successful candidate will serve as the key point of contact for all data protection matters, advising on compliance, governance, risk and strategic initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and enhancing the firm’s global data protection framework
- Advising on GDPR and wider international privacy compliance matters
- Reviewing DPIAs and providing practical, risk-based guidance
- Supporting business-critical projects and contractual matters from a data protection perspective
- Managing DSARs and regulatory interactions
- Delivering training and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Partnering with senior leadership on wider legal and risk initiatives
