Are you a recent law graduate looking to secure your first role within the compliance space?
We have partnered with a leading managed services provider who are looking for a Risk and Compliance Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
The company are best known for providing ongoing managed services to law firm clients, with their expertise spanning a range of areas including business planning and management, finance, risk and compliance, HR, operations, marketing, and technology.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with the company’s diverse client base, including both established international firms and new entrants into the legal market.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Keeping up to date with spreadsheets dedicated to core compliance documentation.
- Involvement in the initiation of new clients and matters as part of New Business Intake activities.
- Contribution to meeting compliance prerequisites tied to administrative client due diligence tasks, sanctions screening, conflict validation, and determination of engagement terms in collaboration with fellow Associates.
- Provision of administrative and supportive assistance for various projects like insurance and regulatory renewals, audits, research endeavours, and policy evaluations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A legal qualification (LLB, GDL, LLM)
- Previous administrative experience gained in a professional services environment
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with compliance processes and requirements is a plus
