An elite US law firm is seeking an AML & Compliance Assistant to join its high-performing London-based global compliance team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work at the heart of a prestigious international firm, supporting complex, high-value matters across multiple jurisdictions. You'll collaborate with lawyers and business professionals worldwide, playing a key role in ensuring the firm's AML and financial crime compliance obligations are met.
The role:
- Conduct client due diligence (CDD), AML, sanctions and adverse media checks
- Prepare client and matter risk assessments
- Identify and escalate higher-risk matters
- Maintain AML records and compliance databases
- Work closely with legal, finance and business services teams across the firm
About you:
- 1+ year's AML or financial crime compliance experience within a law firm or financial institution
- Strong understanding of UK AML regulations and CDD requirements
- Excellent research, organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
