RedLaw have partnered with a prestigious US Law Firm based in London who are looking for a Paralegal to join their highly ranked Litigation team on an initial 6 month FTC basis. Working within a close-knit supportive environment, this is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic paralegal professional who is looking for a new challenge at a fantastic firm.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in preparing for trials, hearings, and arbitration proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research on case law, statutes, and precedents relevant to litigation and arbitration.
- Support the management of the disclosure process, including document review, drafting requests and responses, and organizing materials for production.
- Provide valuable assistance during pre-trial conferences and trial preparations, ensuring a smooth process for the team.
- Assist in drafting and filing important legal documents such as claim forms, defenses, and arbitration-related paperwork.
To be considered for this role, candidates should ideally have completed the LPC or SQE 1 and possess at least one year of paralegal experience, preferably with a focus on litigation and/or arbitration. A solid understanding of commercial litigation and arbitration procedures, as well as proficiency with legal research tools and disclosure processes, is essential.
