We are working with a prestigious London law firm who are seeking a Legal Administrator to join their Real Estate department on a permanent basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to property partners and fee earners, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the continued enhancement of working practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use the Land Registry Portal to obtain official copy documents, priority searches, and SIMs
  • Requisition property searches through search agents, ensuring correct mapping
  • Obtain copy planning consents and other relevant documents from local authorities
  • Draft Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns and Land Registry applications, submitting them after fee earner review
  • Prepare deeds schedules for internal storage and external delivery, retrieving deeds from off-site storage
  • Assist secretaries with file opening, including client/matter forms, conflict searches, and first draft client care letters
  • Issue invoices promptly and save to File Site

Candidate Requirements

  • LLB graduate with prior experience in real estate within a professional services environment
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a positive work ethic
