Exciting Opportunity: AML Specialist at a Leading US Law Firm – Fully Remote

We have partnered with a prestigious US law firm in search of a driven and enthusiastic Compliance Specialist for a fully remote, AML-focused position.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee and administer the firm’s AML processes across Europe and the Middle East, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory regimes. You will also support a variety of ad hoc tasks and compliance-related projects, playing a key role in the firm’s risk management and new business intake functions across its UK and international offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Assistant Compliance Manager, Senior Talent and Business Operations Director, and the General Counsel’s Office to ensure the efficient delivery and continuous improvement of the firm’s day-to-day AML processes, including regular reporting and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Administer the firm’s AML procedures, including the use of third-party verification, due diligence, and checking platforms.
  • Support the Assistant Compliance Manager in overseeing the AML queries inbox, responding to routine enquiries and escalating complex or non-standard issues as appropriate.
  • Accurately record all AML due diligence checks in accordance with firm protocols and information security policies.
  • Under the guidance of the Assistant Compliance Manager, liaise with partners to enhance their understanding of applicable AML regulations and to facilitate effective communication with clients regarding required information and documentation.

Requirements:

Previous experience in an international law firm and a basic understanding of AML regulations are essential.
