We’re looking for an experienced Residential Property professional to join our residential property offering across the Cirencester region.
We are looking to grow the practice and are looking for all qualified levels up to Partner (mentoring a team of lawyers), with the opportunity for real growth and to shape the future of the department and make a real impact. Based from one of our beautiful flagship Cirencester offices, with truly flexible and hybrid working opportunities available, this is your chance to join a forward-thinking team during an exciting phase of expansion.
Candidates should be aware that their first day of employment may be based at an alternative Redkite office for group onboarding. A willingness to travel and spend the day away from your usual place of work is therefore required.
What you will be doing:
- Run your own high-quality caseload with support from the team.
- Grow and develop a high performing residential property team (If at Partner level).
- Work collaboratively with the wider team, servicing a variety of quality residential clients.
- Develop new and existing residential property contacts – targeting quality opportunities and maintaining excellent working relationships with local professionals.
- Integrate and become actively involved in the regional business communities.
- Actively network and raise the profile of the firm locally, attending regional functions and events.
- Demonstrate technical ability in all aspects of property, development and agricultural work. Work to include sales, purchase and leases of a wide variety of properties, re-financing, development agreements and some complex and bespoke residential transactions.
Who we’re looking for:
Although we require a qualified Conveyancer, the person is more important than your level of experience. We want a dynamic individual with an agile and proactive approach, who is team-orientated and passionate about their role. You will be expected to have:
- Great interpersonal skills.
- The drive to create a high-performing team.
- Demonstrable knowledge and technical expertise in a varied residential property caseload.
- Excellent business development skills, with ability to cross-refer and gain new work.
- Excellent IT skills, with ability to use data management systems and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
What is in it for you:
We’re committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing legal team. You’ll be joining colleagues who are not only legally excellent but also commercially astute and down-to-earth. We value trust, boldness, excellence and teamwork — and we want you to thrive as part of that.
Minimum 25 days annual leave entitlement (pro rata). Holiday buy and sell scheme. Contributions to gym membership. Flexible working considerations.
