Family Solicitor

Location: Cardiffor Swansea, hybrid working available

We are looking for aFamily Solicitor to join our growing Family team in Cardiff or Swansea. Thisrole offers a varied caseload across private family law matters, with theopportunity to develop experience in public law work for candidates who have aninterest in this area.

You will be supportedby an experienced and collaborative team committed to helping you grow yourcareer.

This is an excellentopportunity for a motivated solicitor who enjoys building client relationships,delivering high-quality legal advice and contributing to the continued growthof a successful Family department.

What you will bedoing

• Managingyour own caseload of family law matters, delivering high-quality legaladvice and excellent client care.




• Advisingclients on a range of private family law matters, including divorce,finances, cohabitation disputes and private children proceedings.




• Supportingand, where appropriate, developing experience in public law childrenmatters and care proceedings.




• Buildingstrong relationships with clients and guiding them through sensitive andoften challenging circumstances.




• Preparingand drafting legal documents, applications, statements and correspondence.




• Workingcollaboratively with colleagues across the wider Family team to achievethe best outcomes for clients.




• Developingprofessional networks and supporting business development initiatives toraise the profile of the team.




• Ensuringcompliance with regulatory requirements, firm procedures and best practicestandards.

Requirements

Who we are lookingfor

• QualifiedSolicitor with experience in Family Law.




• Strongprivate family law experience.




• Publiclaw children experience or knowledge is desirable but not essential forcandidates willing to learn and develop in this area.




• Excellentclient care and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitivematters with professionalism and empathy.




• Strongorganisational skills and ability to manage a varied caseloadindependently.




• Commercialawareness and an interest in business development.




• Experienceof using case management systems and the full Microsoft Office suite.
