The Role:

  • Lead Siemens PLC and HMI programming (TIA Portal, S7‑1200/1500, WinCC)
  • Design control system architecture and electrical panels
  • Commission systems on-site and troubleshoot installations
  • Integrate IIoT, SCADA, and data analytics for maximum performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven, confident experience with Siemens PLCs and HMIs – this is essential
  • Strong grounding in industrial automation and electrical schematics
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to use own transport initially (mileage reimbursed)
  • Full, unrestricted right to work in the UK (defence sector compliance)
  • Self-driven, problem-solving mindset

Additional Skills That Stand Out:

  • SCADA, IIoT, or machine data analytics experience
  • Knowledge of other PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi)
  • Formal qualifications (HNC/HND/BEng) in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering

Important: If successful for an initial period, you will use your own vehicle for site visits (mileage reimbursed). After this, you will receive a company vehicle—giving you flexibility and independence from day one.
