A leading name in industrial automation and control products is looking for a Mechatronics & Vision Business Development Consultant to cover the Midlands and North of England. You will be the person driving new opportunities across mechatronics, independent cart technology, and vision solutions.
That means working closely with regional sales teams, supporting customer visits, engaging franchise partners, and keeping the pipeline moving with accurate updates in Dynamics 365. Day-to-day you will be identifying opportunities, following up leads, supporting account managers, advising customers on technical applications, and taking ownership of the mechatronics and vision numbers for your region.
You will also keep internal teams updated on developments and help grow capability across the wider sales network. The role suits someone with experience in automation, control, mechatronics, or ICT who enjoys the business-development side as much as the technical conversations. Experience with mechatronics or independent cart technology is a real advantage.
An HNC/HND in electrical engineering (or similar) is helpful but not essential if you’ve got relevant industry experience. Success here comes from good territory planning, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders and simplify technical solutions for customers.
If you’re based in the Midlands or North and want a long-term role with development, support, and the backing of a major group, this is a strong next step.
