Home Based | Industrial Automation

Our client is a global leader in industrial automation and is looking to recruit an Automation Product Specialist to cover the North of England. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in technical sales, applications engineering or product management who enjoys working directly with customers to develop new business and deliver technical automation solutions.

The Role

Working alongside the external sales team, you'll provide technical expertise, application support and product knowledge to help customers identify the right automation solutions while developing sales opportunities across your territory. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and growing OEM, machine builder and industrial automation customers.
  • Providing technical sales and application support.
  • Delivering product demonstrations and customer presentations.
  • Identifying new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Working closely with the field sales team to increase market share.
  • Maintaining CRM records and managing your territory effectively.
