We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer (AWS) to join our client who is an Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting Partner, and one of the few companies to have so many different competencies attested by AWS: SaaS, Data & Analytics, DevOps, Industrial Software, IoT, Migration. The company supports important companies in Europe and all over the world in the implementation of Cloud-based systems and applications.
About the role
You will have the opportunity to work in a team, playing a key role in both the design and development of digital solutions for customers from start-ups to Enterprises. You will enable customers to qualify and define their requirements, translating them into technical solutions, developed using AWS native technologies.
Tasks
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Lead architecture discussions and design sessions for new features or projects.
- Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and methodologies.
- Evangelise a ‘security by design’ approach to all elements of software development.
- Software Development:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with customer product managers/owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using appropriate technologies and frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.
- Playing a role in automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process.
Required Tech Stack Knowledge: (in order of importance)
- AWS (experience having built production full-stack apps with it)
- React (primary)
- Node.js
- Typescript
- RESTful APIs
- PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Docker
- Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform, but CDK/CloudFormation/Pulumi are okay)
- CI/CD (preferably Github Actions, Gitlab pipelines and ArgoCD are okay)
- Experience with testing frameworks, e.g. Jest, Playwright

Qualification
- University Degree Education – 2:1 or higher
- Working knowledge of Agile and Lean Software delivery methodologies
- Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to visualise a proposed system and be able to build it
