This is a full-time, on-site role located in Combs for a General Manager. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage team performance, and ensure projects are completed on time and to customer specifications.
Key responsibilities include:- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to achieve organisational goals
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand business opportunities
- Manage sales targets, merchandising strategies, and promotional activities
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities and optimise existing processes
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex technical drawings. Proficiency in Fusion 360 and/or other CAD software for design and programming purposes would be a bonus. Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking capabilities. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/specifications, review engineering drawings/technical drawings, and models to identify potential manufacturing challenges and offer design and manufacturing recommendations.
