We're currently working exclusively on behalf of a growing meat business in South Africa that is looking to appoint a Production Manager to oversee large-scale boning hall operations.

Operational volumes have increased substantially over recent years, with the business continuing to invest heavily in growth and future capacity.

The role will oversee:

  • Boning hall operations with large production teams
  • Red meat forequarter and hindquarter deboning
  • Yield optimisation and labour management
  • Run rates, efficiencies and machinery utilisation
  • Food safety, GMP, HACCP and audit readiness
  • Driving operational performance and continuous improvement

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience running red meat boning halls
  • Someone ambitious, hands on and career driven
  • Able and willing to work and live in Johannesburg, South Africa

Salary: R80,000-R90,000 per month depending on experience + relocation
