We're currently working exclusively on behalf of a growing meat business in South Africa that is looking to appoint a Production Manager to oversee large-scale boning hall operations.

The business has grown significantly over the last few years, expanding beyond traditional retail supply into export markets and foodservice supply chains linked to major global brands. Operational volumes have increased substantially over recent years, with the business continuing to invest heavily in growth and future capacity.
The role will oversee:
- Boning hall operations with large production teams
- Red meat forequarter and hindquarter deboning
- Yield optimisation and labour management
- Run rates, efficiencies and machinery utilisation
- Food safety, GMP, HACCP and audit readiness
- Driving operational performance and continuous improvement
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience running red meat boning halls
- Someone ambitious, hands on and career driven
- Able and willing to work and live in Johannesburg, South Africa
Salary: R80,000-R90,000 per month depending on experience + relocation.
