The Opportunity

We are representing an established global technology company operating at the forefront of the Media & Entertainment industry that is looking to appoint an experienced Public Relations professional to strengthen its profile, credibility and authority across the global market. This is a role that goes beyond traditional PR. Working as part of a wider Account-Based Marketing strategy, you will help ensure the company is visible and recognised as an authoritative voice when customers and prospects are researching the technologies, products and challenges shaping the media industry. This includes traditional industry media and analyst research, as well as search, AI-powered search and increasingly LLM-generated content.

The Role

You will design and execute a global media and analyst relations programme, working closely with senior Marketing, Product and Executive stakeholders. Your focus will be on developing sustained authority around commercially important industry topics through earned media, analyst engagement, original research and thought leadership.

You will identify compelling stories, market trends and insights and turn them into content that resonates with journalists, analysts and industry decision-makers. This will include securing media coverage, commentary opportunities, interviews, contributed articles and executive visibility, as well as developing press releases, media pitches and campaigns around company announcements, customer developments, research and major industry events.

A key element of the role will be developing credible and referenceable content that strengthens the company's visibility across traditional search and emerging AI-powered discovery. You will work with internal subject-matter experts to transform proprietary research, market data and industry expertise into blogs, reports, articles, opinion pieces and media stories that establish the business as a trusted authority within the sector.

You will also lead relationships with influential industry analysts and research organisations, managing briefings throughout the year and ensuring analysts have a strong understanding of the company's strategy, technology and market differentiation. Around major Media & Entertainment events, you will develop dedicated media and analyst programmes, securing journalist meetings, executive interviews and analyst briefings before, during and between events.

About You

You will have significant PR, communications, media relations or analyst relations experience specifically within the Media & Entertainment technology industry, together with an established network of relevant journalists, editors and industry analysts. You may currently work for a major media technology vendor, media organisation or a PR/communications agency specialising in this sector.

You will be an exceptional writer and storyteller with the ability to translate complex technology, research and market insights into compelling narratives for different audiences. You should also understand how B2B technology research and influence are evolving and be excited by the opportunity to bring together PR, analyst relations, thought leadership, ABM and AI discoverability to increase visibility and influence throughout the customer buying journey.
