Contract:

  • Post 1: 35 hours per week - Permanent - 39 weeks per year
  • Post 2: 17.5 hours per week - Permanent - 39 weeks per year
  • Post 3: 17.5 hours per week - Permanent - 39 weeks per year

Brookfield Community School has a fantastic opportunity for three Catering Assistants to join our busy and successful school kitchen. With a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen opening in September 2026, this is an exciting time to become part of our dedicated in-house catering team. The successful candidates will support the delivery of a high-quality catering service that meets the needs of our students and wider school community. You will assist with the preparation of fresh, healthy meals and snacks, and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
  • Support the catering team in maintaining a safe working environment
  • Comply with all Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations
  • Help ensure catering standards meet School Food Standards and Food Standards Agency requirements
  • Provide a positive and professional service to students and staff
