17.5 hours per week - Permanent - All Year Round. Required to start June 1st 2026. An exciting opportunity to become an essential part of a small, friendly primary school. This is a key-holder position that demands high levels of responsibility and a deep understanding of school safeguarding and health and safety protocols. Palterton Primary School is part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Security, cleaning, porterage and maintenance of the school site and premises, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Undertake caretaker duties to the agreed quality standards.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Experience of cleaning and maintenance requirements.
- Good level of communication with a variety of stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, willing to undertake professional development.
