Redhill Academy Trust Teachers Main Pay Scale Full Time Maternity Cover Required 1st September 2026. The Carlton Academy is now recruiting for a female Teacher of Physical Education to cover for maternity leave. The post would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about their subject and has a real interest in developing young people. They will demonstrate an approachable manner, a keen eye for detail and the ability to motivate and manage the behaviour of students. The successful candidate will have the highest expectations of our students and will be keen to develop their practice.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a degree level qualification (Sport, Physical Education)
- Be able to teach full range of ability 11-18 year olds
- Have experience of delivering BTEC Sport or willingness to learn to deliver any new technical qualifications.
The Carlton Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
