Actual Salary: £18,259.22 - £19,770.51 per annum (FTE: £27,004.53 - £29,239.67)

26 hours - Part Time - Permanent - Term Time Only

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:45am - 1:45pm; Friday 8:45am - 3:30pm

About You…

• Has experience of supporting children within a primary school setting, including those with SEND.
• Is warm and friendly and develops excellent relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Has high expectations for all pupils and is committed to helping every child succeed.
• Has a sense of humour and fully embraces all aspects of school life.
• Works effectively as part of a team and uses their initiative.
• Can monitor and support children in break and lunch times and ensure they are thriving and safe.
• Will embrace our school ethos and add to our brilliant team.

Essential

• Level 3 Teaching and Learning Qualification or equivalent.
• Suitable Level 2 Qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent.

Desirable

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Paediatric First Aid training.
• Knowledge of behaviour support strategies and early intervention approaches.
• Experience delivering interventions to individuals and small groups.

Your role…

As a Teaching And Learning Assistant You'll

• Primarily support teaching and learning within Key Stage 2.
• Work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential.
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through classroom support, interventions and small-group work when required.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for all pupils.
• Contribute to our caring and inclusive school culture where every child is encouraged to thrive.
