Part-Time Finance Manager
Creative Agency | London, Covent Garden | 3 days a week, flexible hours | 40-50k | 8 month contract
A female-led, independent post-production agency based in the heart of Covent Garden is looking for a Finance Manager to join their friendly, collaborative team on a part-time basis. This is an 8-month maternity cover contract with an ideal start in the coming weeks.
The Role:
You’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, working closely with the Managing Director and an external accountant. You’ll also support a related one-director company.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing client bank accounts and processing payments via NatWest Bankline

Credit control and management of outstanding invoices

General bookkeeping: reconciliations, expenses, supplier payments, payroll journals

Processing staff payroll and ensuring HMRC compliance

Supporting office management and maintaining supplier contracts

Providing guidance to a part-time Accounts Assistant

Preparing financial reports for directors as needed

Assisting external accountants with VAT returns and year-end accounts

Handling depreciation registers, accruals, prepayments, and MTD VAT submissions
About You:

1+ year of experience in a similar finance or bookkeeping role

Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with people at all levels

Highly accurate with strong attention to detail

Solid Excel skills

Experience with accounting software (ideally Sage Line 50)

Organised, self-sufficient, and proactive
