A well established and growing Agency is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join the team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the COO, CXO and CMO. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for financial management, commercial support, compliance and strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and month-end processes.
- Produce consolidated monthly management accounts, including profitability and utilisation reporting.
- Manage revenue recognition, variance analysis and financial modelling.
- Drive commercial performance through job profitability management and client contract support.
- Partner with senior client leaders on contract renewals, new business pitches and budget management.
- Oversee client billing, reconciliations and supplier/client contract reviews.
- Ensure financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and statutory compliance are maintained.
- Manage VAT returns, audit processes, regulatory filings and share scheme administration.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
About You
- Proven senior finance leadership experience, ideally within a professional services, agency or consultancy environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and financial modelling skills.
- Experience managing audits, compliance and statutory reporting.
- Hands-on, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced growth business.
