About the Role
Due to exponential growth and increasing operational complexity across Europe, they are now recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the commercial team. This fully hybrid role offers the opportunity to work flexibly while collaborating with international suppliers, internal stakeholders, and commercial teams to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality berry supply across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial relationships with both existing and new suppliers
- Agree seasonal volumes and pricing, and follow up to ensure delivery against plans
- Negotiate claims and resolve supply-related disputes
- Identify and onboard new sources of supply to meet growing demand
- Execute spot purchases to address gaps or shortfalls in supply
- Work closely with the commercial and supply chain teams to align supply with market demand
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and growers on supply status and forecasted returns
Candidate Profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Personable and collaborative, with a relationship-building mindset
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive problem solver, flexible and responsive to operational needs
- Willingness to travel across the EU and internationally as needed
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in a commercial procurement role within the fresh berries or wider fresh produce category
- University degree or related qualification is desirable
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential
