Growing Manager
Our leading client is a developer, owner, and operator of many of the UK’s most high-tech greenhouse facilities. They utilize various technological solutions to grow crops with less reliance on finite natural resources than conventional greenhouse production.
Due to ongoing development, they are now seeking a GROWER to oversee the growth and development of the site through its next stages.
This role involves managing state-of-the-art production, including responsibility for budgets, crop planning, and technical audits. Effective communication at all levels is essential.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a solid understanding of modern protected growing techniques and systems such as Piva and Hoogendoorn, with excellent team-building skills. Extensive experience with high-wire crops like Tomatoes, Aubergines, and Peppers is required.
