A long-established, market-leading fresh produce business is seeking an experienced Global Audit Manager to play a key role in protecting food safety, ethical, and environmental standards across an international supply base. With a reputation built on trust, transparency, and responsible sourcing, this organisation works closely with growers and retailers to do business the right way — putting people, integrity, and sustainability at the heart of everything it does.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated Responsible Sourcing team, leading supplier audits across the globe and ensuring best-in-class compliance against major retailer and company standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on autonomy, collaboration, and driving real, lasting improvements within complex supply chains.

The role at a glance:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver food safety, ethical, and environmental audits worldwide
  • Audit against leading retailer and internal standards
  • Manage live global audit schedules and produce clear, timely reports
  • Support suppliers in creating and closing effective corrective action plans
  • Prepare sites for customer visits and high-profile audits
  • Conduct ethical trade, human rights, and accommodation risk assessments
  • Analyse non-conformance trends and tackle root causes, not just symptoms
  • Investigate serious incidents and work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver improvements

What they’re looking for:

  • Fluency in Spanish, Arabic and/or French
  • Happy to travel extensively across Southern Europe and Northern Africa
  • Proven auditing experience within the fresh produce supply chain
  • Strong knowledge of UK and international food safety, integrity, and ethical standards
  • A sharp analytical mindset with experience delivering sustainable improvement plans
  • Confident working independently while building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • A driven professional with a strong work ethic and a deadline-focused approach

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a global audit programme, influence positive change at scale, and be part of a business that genuinely values responsible sourcing and long-term partnerships.
