Are you passionate about fresh produce and ensuring top-quality standards in the supply chain? We are seeking a driven Technologist or a recent Graduate to join our Clients dynamic team and play a vital role in managing global supplier relationships, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and driving product quality within the Exotic Fruit category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier requirements and ensure customer-aligned due diligence.
- Maintain approved supplier and grower lists.
- Oversee produce specifications and ensure compliance across the supply base.
- Support sustainability and ethical initiatives, tracking risk changes and action plans.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct product benchmarking and category monitoring.
- Lead updates and manage customer systems, including due diligence, certification, and packaging.
- Support compliance with food safety laws and customer quality requirements.
- Participate in supplier audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Represent the business at relevant forums and meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Food/Agri/Horti Graduate
- Ideally, experience in a similar role within the fresh produce or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety laws, supplier management, and quality assurance.
- Understanding of ethical sourcing, sustainability, and risk assessments (HACCP, TACCP & VACCP).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally as required.
