You’ll be the technical voice to key retail customers, ensuring products are not just compliant but exceptional.
The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the lead technical contact for key customers
- Owning product specifications—making sure they are accurate, achievable, and commercially viable
- Working cross-functionally with NPD, production, and plant care teams
- Leading pre-productions and product launches with confidence
- Investigating, reporting, and reducing customer complaints
- Driving continuous improvement across quality, shelf-life, and performance
- Visiting growers and suppliers to ensure standards are delivered from source
- Supporting and developing junior technologists
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical experience in horticulture / fresh produce / glasshouse production
- Solid understanding of customer requirements, specifications, and audits
- Knowledge of plant passporting, imports/exports, and compliance
- A confident communicator—comfortable presenting to customers and stakeholders
- Detail-focused, organised, and commercially aware
