Sector: Agricultural Merchant / Grain Trading & Laboratory Services About the Role Join a respected independently owned agricultural merchant focused on supplying growers with inputs and sourcing the best markets for their grain. You’ll support the grain trading and lab services team, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional service to farm clients and internal stakeholders. Your Responsibilities * Efficiently manage data entry – weighbridge tickets, quality analysis, and inventory records with 100% accuracy * Track and chase weight and quality data to ensure timely contracts, settlements, and payments * Respond promptly to internal and external queries – delivering first-class customer service to farmers and trading partners * Assist with reporting, processing claims/deductions, and reconciling grain deliveries * Work closely with laboratory and trading teams to support grower marketing decisions What We’re Looking For * Strong administrative and organisational abilities; able to process fluctuating work volumes and prioritize effectively * Excellent IT skills and agility with data systems * A confident communicator with a commercial mindset * A team player who stays calm under pressure and meets tight deadlines * Ideally, experience in grain, agriculture, or commodity trading environments but not essential Why This Role Stands Out * Opportunity to join a dynamic, grower-focused merchant offering agronomic, lab, and market access services across the UK and Europe * Work within a value-driven organisation balancing local farmer relationships with international grain marketing
