We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our clients Technical team in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of food safety, legality, and quality. The role involves collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain and improve compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards (e.g., BRCGS, Global Gap, Red Tractor, customer specifications). * Conduct and manage internal audits in line with third-party and customer standards. * Handle non-conformities and implement corrective actions by identifying root causes. * Oversee pest control activities with external providers. * Support the development and monitoring of technical projects and food safety systems. * Actively contribute to HACCP team and relevant working groups. * Maintain strong hygiene controls across the packhouse and operational areas. * Supervise and develop a small compliance team. * Assist with recruitment and training of technical team members. * Create and deliver KPI reports and other documentation on schedule. * Maintain accurate compliance records for both field and packhouse operations. * Ensure health and safety standards are upheld. * Take ownership of personal development and ongoing learning. Key Relationships: * External: Customer technical teams, suppliers, auditors, and contractors. * Internal: Quality Assurance, Packhouse, Growing, Farming, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams. Candidate Profile: * Minimum 5 years of experience in fresh produce or food manufacturing. * Experienced in managing retail audit standards and continuous improvement processes. * Confident, collaborative, and solution-focused. * Qualified in HACCP (Level 3) and Food Safety (Level 3). * Background in BRCGS and customer audit preparation and execution. * Holds a valid driving licence. * Strong IT and communication skills, both verbal and written.
