The Role: This is an opportunity to work at the heart of London’s commercial office market, producing technical design solutions for fast‑paced, design‑driven fit‑out schemes. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects from concept through to site, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination with designers, contractors, and workplace specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Design Packages: Produce detailed RIBA Stage 3–5 drawing sets, specifications, and coordination packages for CAT A and CAT B office fit‑outs.
- Workspace Delivery: Support full D&B project delivery, ensuring technical solutions align with design intent, building services requirements, and client expectations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet UK Building Regulations, fire safety standards, and landlord/tenant requirements typical of central London office buildings.
- Coordination: Work closely with interior designers, MEP consultants, and site teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain design integrity throughout construction.
- Existing Building Adaptation: Navigate the complexities of working within existing commercial office buildings, including structural constraints, services integration, and landlord approvals.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 3–5+ years in commercial office fit‑out, ideally within a D&B environment.
- Software: Advanced AutoCAD proficiency essential; Revit or 3D visualisation experience is a strong advantage.
