Are you a seasoned developer ready to take full ownership of business-critical systems and web platforms? We’re recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking construction fit out company seeking a Senior Developer to lead the evolution of their internal tech ecosystem.
The Opportunity
This is more than just a coding role. You’ll be the technical linchpin behind a custom-built internal platform (PHP Laravel PostgreSQL) and a suite of WordPress-based websites. From system architecture to hands-on development, you’ll shape the tools that power day-to-day operations across sales, design, and project delivery teams. You’ll also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior developers, leading code reviews, and scaling the development function as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of internal systems using PHP (Laravel), PostgreSQL, and Azure Blob Storage
- Maintain and optimize WordPress websites, plugins, and themes
- Administer Linux-based environments and manage Dockerized applications
- Configure and secure Nginx web servers and troubleshoot DNS/firewall issues
- Implement Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve system efficiency and user experience
- Document architecture and processes to ensure maintainability
- Mentor junior developers and foster a high-performance engineering culture
What You’ll Bring
- 5 years of PHP (Laravel) and PostgreSQL experience
- Deep understanding of ERP/CRM systems and business process automation
- Strong Linux, Docker, and Nginx expertise
