About The Role
I'm working with a leading Design & Build contractor in London that's looking to appoint a Sales-Focused Project Director. This is a strategic hire for a business that's scaling fast and wants someone who can bring clients, win work, and deliver projects with confidence. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years' experience in a similar role, a strong network in the London fit-out market, and the commercial acumen to convert opportunities into live projects. Commission is directly tied to project wins, making this a high-impact, high-reward position.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales
- Leverage existing client relationships to generate immediate project opportunities
- Lead pitches, presentations, and bid strategy to secure new work
- Shape compelling proposals with pre-construction and design teams
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals with confidence
- Track pipeline and contribute to strategic growth targets
- Oversee full project lifecycle from concept to handover
- Ensure design coordination, buildability, and programme alignment
- Lead internal teams and subcontractors to deliver on time and budget
- Maintain high standards across quality, safety, and client satisfaction
- Report to senior leadership on sales performance and delivery metrics
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement across teams

- 4-5 years' experience as a Project Director in D&B fit-out
- Proven ability to win projects and bring clients with you

- Track record of delivering £1m-£10m+ fit-out schemes
Package
