One of my valued clients, a leading UK workplace design and fit-out specialist, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager.

Renowned for delivering high-quality commercial interior projects, the business has built a strong reputation for innovation and excellence, offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing team delivering prestigious workplace fit-out projects across the UK.

Lead pre‑construction activities across workplace fit‑out and refurbishment projects.

Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions for projects typically ranging from £500k–£10m.

Work closely with design, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client expectations.

Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify risks, opportunities, and value‑engineering options.

Manage tender processes, subcontractor pricing, and procurement during pre‑construction stages.

Support the BD team with technical input during early engagement and proposal development.

Ensure seamless handover from pre‑construction to delivery teams.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.

Proven experience in pre‑construction, estimating, or commercial roles within Design & Build, fit‑out, or interiors.

Solid understanding of workplace fit‑out, materials, subcontractor packages, and construction methodologies.

Ability to coordinate multiple inputs (design, commercial, delivery) under tight deadlines.

Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Collaborative mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
