Our client is a well-established Design & Build specialist delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the South of England.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Director to lead client relationships, drive business development and oversee the successful delivery of multiple CAT A and CAT B projects.
This is a senior leadership opportunity offering significant autonomy, strategic influence and clear long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain key client relationships across London and the South of England.
Lead early-stage project engagement, including qualification, strategy, programming and bid development.
Present and lead client pitches, producing commercially compelling proposals.
Provide strategic oversight across multiple CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.
Work collaboratively with design, pre-construction and commercial teams to develop winning solutions.
Mentor and support Project Managers and wider delivery teams.
Monitor project performance, programme, commercial outcomes and risk.
Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong understanding of regional market activity.
Represent the business at networking events, client meetings and industry functions.
Ensure a seamless transition between pre-construction and project delivery.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Pre-construction Manager within the Design & Build or commercial fit-out sector.
Strong track record delivering and winning CAT A and CAT B workplace projects valued at £5m+.
Demonstrable of leading client pitches and developing long-term relationships.
Well-established network of clients, consultants, landlords and agents across London and the South of England (desirable not essential).
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing bids, contracts and project financial performance.
Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially minded, proactive and motivated by business growth and client success.
Excellent understanding of workplace design, commercial interiors and Design & Build delivery.
