We have a maternity cover vacancy available to join the team at Redfield Edge for a lunch break supervisor. This is a temporary cover role starting 13th February 2026 to 18th February 2027 covering maternity leave.
Role / Responsibilities:
- Supervising the children in the lunch hall, playground and field
- Setting up and cleaning away the tables / chairs
- Leading games/activities in our play zones
- Providing first aid to pupils
- Occasionally helping serve food
We are looking for a lunch break supervisor who is:
- Enjoys working with children
- Motivated team player
- Good communicator
- Caring, flexible and enthusiastic
- Experienced working in an education or care setting looking after children (not essential)
Training for First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene will be available. This role involves manual handling on a daily basis.
Time: 12 - 1.30pm Monday – Friday Term Time Only
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Pay Scale: MPT 2.3 £25106 FTE Actual Pro rata Pay £4265 per annum
