We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ post‑qualification experience to join our established firm in Northwest London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, client‑focused solicitor who is ready to take ownership of a varied residential caseload and keen to progress in their career.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and if able light commercial property.
  • Providing clear, proactive client communication throughout each transaction.
  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, reports, and legal documentation with strong attention to detail.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm‑wide procedures at all stages of the conveyancing process.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (or Licensed Conveyancer) with at least 5 years PQE in residential conveyancing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of residential property law.
  • Ability to manage files independently from instruction to completion.
  • Excellent communication and client‑care skills with a professional, approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Has a proven track record as a Residential Property Fee Earner.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Is IT literate with experience using web-based case management systems.
  • Is commercially astute and understands the impact of business targets.
