We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' post‐qualification experience to join our established firm in Northwest London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, client‐focused solicitor who is ready to take ownership of a varied residential caseload and keen to progress in their career.
Responsibilities
- Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and if able light commercial property.
- Providing clear, proactive client communication throughout each transaction.
- Liaising with estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, reports, and legal documentation with strong attention to detail.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm‐wide procedures at all stages of the conveyancing process.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (or Licensed Conveyancer) with at least 5 years PQE in residential conveyancing.
- Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of residential property law.
- Ability to manage files independently from instruction to completion.
- Excellent communication and client‐care skills with a professional, approachable manner.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Has a proven track record as a Residential Property Fee Earner.
- Demonstrates strong organisational and time management skills.
- Is IT literate with experience using web-based case management systems.
- Is commercially astute and understands the impact of business targets.
