You’ll energise and inspire your team, raise the bar on food and coffee quality, and deliver exceptional hospitality every day. At Redemption Roasters, we believe great coffee can change lives. Our mission is to reduce reoffending by training people in prison and supporting them into work on release – often in our own cafés.
You will:
- Lead by example on the floor, creating an environment that delivers warm, personal hospitality and excellent coffee and food, every time.
- Drive performance and consistency across your café – from food and coffee execution to service standards and presentation.
- Build and coach a high-performing team through clear expectations, regular feedback, and continuous development.
- Take charge of day-to-day operations, including scheduling, stock, safety, and compliance – ensuring a well-run, efficient, and profitable shop.
- Maintain high standards in cleanliness, organisation, and quality through hands-on leadership and attention to detail.
- Champion our mission by mentoring team members, supporting programme participants, and communicating our social impact with pride.
- Collaborate with your GM and the wider team to build a loyal guest base and strengthen your café’s presence in the community.
You have:
- At least 3 years’ café or restaurant management experience.
- The right to work full-time in the UK.
- Weekend availability.
You are:
- A confident, energetic leader who motivates teams and drives results.
- Hands-on and proactive – you’re not above the mop or the till, and you stay close to the details that matter.
- Commercially minded – you understand the link between great operations, sales, and profitability.
- Passionate about quality – from coffee and food to cleanliness and communication.
- Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and always ready to get stuck in.
- Values-driven – you care about people, purpose, and progress.
We will:
- Support your growth with clear expectations, ongoing training, and regular check-ins.
- Offer you the chance to lead a café that’s doing things differently – where quality and impact go hand in hand.
