The Role
Our opportunity is your chance to play a crucial role in redefining the world of talent. Interested? Then we would like to talk to you! As a Senior Recruiter, you will assist Hiring Managers in filling open positions by offering expert guidance and ensuring quality throughout the recruitment process. You will be responsible for creating and delivering excellent recruitment services and following the established service agreements. This role requires using recruitment technology tools and managing processes including completing 1st stage competency-based interviews. You'll engage directly with the client where you will give expert advice and manage their expectations at every stage of the hiring process.
Key Accountabilities
- Take full ownership to ensure the recruitment service is delivered in line with contractual obligations.
- Lead vacancy consultation discussions in partnership with the Sourcer to agree the recruitment plans with hiring managers, including role requirements, sourcing strategy, DEI requirements, pay range, agreed timeframes, responsibilities of all involved, and the selection process.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing team on the iterative process of narrowing down high-quality candidates and jointly review the shortlist with the hiring manager.
- Deliver excellent candidate experience in conjunction with the Sourcer; managing candidate satisfaction with the recruitment experience, from initial interview to start date.
- Complete the initial competency-based interview with the Hiring Manager, followed by attending the second-stage technical interview.
- Support the hiring manager with hiring decisions and guide them in determining an appropriate offer; lead the (often complex) offer process and negotiations to close the candidate.
- Anticipate potential stakeholder issues within own area of expertise, taking action to address, and using judgement to escalate appropriately.
- Proactively manage future demand by facilitating demand planning meetings to discuss forecasts with the client resourcing lead team.
- Build proactive pipelining strategies and share insights with hiring managers to support strategic decision-making and execution outside of live demand.
- Report regularly on progress of Talent Pool.
- Outline recommended continuous improvement actions and upselling opportunities to Manager - Client Services, including quantifying impact.
Skills & Experience
You’ll need to demonstrate:
- Experience of Recruitment delivery.
- Understanding of attraction strategies and candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising and database searching).
- Experience of using recruitment technology.
- Working knowledge of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors, OFCCP).
- Experience of working within a highly complex or matrixed organisation.
- Exceptional Stakeholder Management and influential skills.
