Step into the fast-paced world of Coronation Street! As a Runner, you\'ll be the linchpin that keeps our shoots running smoothly. You\'ll be right in the heart of the action, providing essential support to our Assistant Directors and ensuring seamless communication between the set and the Production Office. Be part of maintaining the high production values that make Corrie a national treasure!

The role

Join the whirlwind of Coronation Street! Dive into the heart of the action, supporting Assistant Directors, keeping everyone in the loop, and ensuring the magic happens seamlessly. From guiding cast and S/A\'s, anticipating needs, and distributing vital info, to zipping between locations, providing refreshments, and maintaining set etiquette - you\'ll be the ultimate go-to person, ensuring a smooth, high-energy shoot and being a crucial part of the team that brings this iconic show to life!

Skills you\'ll need (minimum criteria)

  • A credit list (minimum of 3 credits) of working in the capacity of a Runner or other similar role on a TV Broadcast production.
  • Experience working in Drama (at least 1 credit).
  • Work with discretion and respect our requirement for utmost confidentiality- experience working with confidential information.
  • A good working knowledge of production Schedules, Call Sheets and communicating via radio.
  • Experience working with on-screen Talent and Supporting Artists on a TV Drama.
  • Ability to work under pressure, work long and unsociable hours in both a studio and location environment and be prepared to change your working pattern at short notice.

  • Previous experience of floor running in studio & location is desirable.
  • First-rate communication skills - adaptable team player, dealing with people at all levels.

  • IT literate.
  • Time keeping/Punctuality
