What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the management of requirements and acceptance for systems across the project
- Supporting system certification towards project milestones
- Develop the process for management of interface requirements and validation across the platform and lead on the management of the interface control process
- Support the maturity and checking of interfaces in pursuance of a verified and validated design
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Systems Engineering Lifecycle experience
- Significant experience in Requirements elicitation and interface management and/or design independent verification, validation and acceptance of complex products and systems
- Experience of using requirements management tools (DOORs)
- An understanding of software based systems and interfaces
- Degree qualifications in Engineering / STEM Subject. Candidates looking to interview for the Principal role should be looking to work towards / have gained Chartership

The Whole Boat Systems Engineering Team manage the requirements and acceptance through verification and validation. This is enacted through use of requirements management tools (DOORs), defining and maintaining systems engineering processes used by the project and providing technical guidance to the wider engineering teams. This role will be focusing on interface management and acceptance between systems/sub-systems.
Our broad range of Systems teams cover all aspects of the product's design throughout its lifecycle implementing a variety of tools and techniques tailored to support the specialist requirements of our products. From Agile methodologies to a Model Based Approach to Systems Engineering we are keen on maintaining our role as a leader in the field of Defence engineering by investing in our people.
